Like migraine, chronic back pain, the gastrointestinal tract expresses much psychological stress. Anxiety causes air swallowing, bloating, due to indigestible nitrogen. The irritable bowel has a psychological basis as well as its attendant constipation or diarrhea. When I see these children, psychiatry becomes the major focus of my treatment and I address external stressors or conflicts. I am rarely unsuccessful. If a child is not thriving, however, one must consider organic disease, Celiac d.

you could go to a doctor and be tested for the h. pylori virus. i had alot of
pain and threw up a couple of times too and for MANY years. I was eating antiacid
candy, tums, etc forever until i met a doctor who told me i might have the
virus. i went in for a breath test and then the results came back that i had the bacteria in my stomach. after 1 week of treatment i am 100% better. no pain at all.
