If this happens after every meal, it sounds serious, you need to do a few things.
1. Fix an appointment with the doctor. The doctor may want to know few of your eating, exercise habits. So keep a very detailed daily log of meals without any omission; the time when you ate; how did you eat like gulped down with sodas, grabbed the sandwich and ate while walking from one building to another or on the commuter train etc. When ever you exercised or walked a long distance like going home or to parking lot one mile away.
2. While you are waiting to see the doctor, you can do a few things. Have more fibers or liquid or semiliquid food. Also switch to whole grain breads than the bleached flours. Include some liquids like soups with lunch and/or dinner. Instead of eating a few large meals, divide into smaller portions. Start with: eat the meal and save the dessert for a later time etc.
3. The OverTheCounter items will help you. So, choose the one that suits you best. Once your problem gets to the bearable stage, slowly try to reduce the dependency on the OTC.
4. If your daily routine is more sitting type, be creative to add some movements. You can watch TV while standing up and walking/jogging in the same place.
5. Listen to the doctor. If you think you cannot follow the regiment he describes, be frank with the doctor that you could start with the partial list and will slowly try to increase an item at a time.
Good luck.
I don’t know. I would see a gastroenterologist if it is extremely uncomfortable/worrisome to diagnose it correctly and prevent any possible health problems.
keep a food diary and find out which food in particular it happens with. and look into food intolerances. theyre are some common main ones. if its not that at least you can rule it out.
I have the same thing. I’ll eat a meal and it will take a long time to digest. My stomach bulges for hours after eating. If you have any information let me know.
I have the same issue, my food doesn’t digest properly and I have acid reflux or GERD.
my doc put me on Prilosec which is OTC now, you may want to try that. If you don’t want to take a daily med then try using Mylanta with the antigas, after you eat, that works pretty good too.
But 1st you should see your doctor to see if they have any other suggestions for you.

could be GERD. jut try a TUMS after every meal and see if that helps.
ask a doctor
You need more fiber in your diet. Eat some spinach, or some raisin bran, maybe some flax seed, that will give you the ol’ clean sweep.
that happends to me all the time
my doctor says it becuase i eat to fast
and dont give my stomache enough time to digest so it gets stuck or w.e
so try not to eat fast if you do
You should try to excercise because that will help your metabolism which in turn will help move along your digestive system.
depends on how often you defecate.
You should see your’ doctor asap, sounds as though you may have a blockage. Good luck.
