Carifait that’s what i was on. my daughter is on cipro. im trippin. Ya they made me really nauseous. It was ok in pill form but when i started taking it in liquid i got real sick!
im so glad you got a diagnosis… but its scary.. not knowing. Im totally impressed with you Amelia. I watched your videos from start to end… and I really feel like I got a lot out of them. ( im 3 weeks post op ) And I cant wait to get to where you are!
wow sorry to hear about the ulcer that sucks…at least u know now what the problem was. i will be making a video tomorrow with an announcement of my own. u look great by the way. much love miguel.
Glad you are ok! I’m 7 months out, and have probably seen all of your videos. I log on you tube every week just to see what you and Divataunia are up to! Take care!
Hi Amelia, love your videos. I watch them all the time. I am two weeks out from surgery and am starting to have “real food” but the problem, I keep vomiting. Did you have this problem too?
Amelia, you ROCK! Thanks so much for documenting & sharing your story, including the plastic surgery. I hope the ulcer heals quickly. Your hair looks GREAT! & I would not have known you didn’t have makeup on if you haven’t said so. Do you think all the surgeries and everything you’ve been through with the Gastric Bypass….NOW looking back has it been worth it all???
Oh my gosh! So sorry to hear you have an ulcer but glad it’s going to be ok:)
Those are some serious horse pills – are you crushing or cutting them in half?
Keep up the awesome work Amelia & thank you for your videos.
hugs
no, they actually crumble very quickly so i swallow them whole. I fill my mouth with water drop the pill in, let it fall to the back of my throat and.. Gulp. I have chocked it up once and tasted it crumble so i am more careful now
Absolutely, I wouldn’t take the Gastric Bypass back for nothing! It is important to know that complications still CAN happen even if you do EVERYTHING right
Thank you for your response. I had an exray this morning and it showed an indention in the esophagus and the doctor thought there could be a possible little ulcer there. He gave me a prescription for it so it should help and correct itself. I told a couple of friends about you and they are watching you as well and are very pleased with your help. Keep up the good work and you look absolutely beautiful. You should be so proud of yourself. People think gastric bypass is easy but it’s not.

Does your insurance pay for each time you have to go to the ER?
May 6th, 2009 at 10:48 am

you need to slow down and reduce the portion, vomiting is a sign you are over-doing it

Do they know why you got the ulcer?
January 1st, 2010 at 10:37 am
no big deal, I had that test done 7 times and they did it to me once without the anestesia.
