great video! very helpful for starting a raw diet! What do you recommend to drink with a meal? or is it best to drink nothing at all?

  5. LibertyOrBust Says:

noomen, I’m not raw but have changed to a healthy diet in the past 6 months. I would have had the same question as you but found out by experience what happens… you no longer NEED liquid with meals. It could be a combination of proper hydration at other times in the day and that the water is coming from the food itself. It’s amazing, but true. Tonight I had a very unraw garden veggie burger with spinach in ezekiel pocket bread and steamed califlower… no drink until a glass of water later

I’ve been having this exact same problem and I’ve been about 80%-90% raw for the past 23 days, and I just realized that I haven’t been drinking enough water throughout the day, so hopefully that’s the answer. Thank you for all of your videos!!!

thank you for this explanation! it makes sense. i am researching raw becasue i am planning to start after this semester ends. right now i am eating more good, and taking out lots of bad. your comment is very helpful, i will start to drink more during the day, thanks again :)

I have found that my dehydrated cracker breads really block me up. I think I eat way to much particularly right after they are done and do not drink enough water in general. Also, I have been doing some digestive enzymes as well. Thanks Natasha!

why does you camera move around? I am just tuning into this… just curious. Is it hanging?

Good luck on your journey! It’s funny how unconscious it was to stop drinking at meals, due to this conversation I realize it more the past couple of days. So, if I can say, remember not to overthink things, just add the healthy and the unhealthy falls by the wayside. My diet used to be 100% diet pepsi (no water), pizza, fast food, candy

One thing that helped me early on was drinking 2 glasses of water upon waking up. Flush/hydrate the system, reduce cravings, prep for the healthy meals

  12. noomen00 Says:

thank you for the encouragement! I will keep the water in the morning in mind. thank you :)

Just what I needed to hear, gives me strength to carry on with more raw vegetables and fruit. Thanks

if you have bloat in the period after going raw most likely your gut flora that digests fiber is too scarce after your previous low fiber, processed food diet. it will take time for the bacteria to grow to cope with it. try probiotics to speed up the process.

you need a good combination of soluble and insoluble fiber and build it up over time.

magnesium citrate will hydrate the stool and help keep things moving if needed.

I want to learn more about being heathy because my now I listen to my body and it YELLS at me sometimes when I eat the wrong foods lol

Took me a few minutes to turn off my brains recording of “oh great another health nut “. Yet once I did I like that you said not to do everything at once. You also explained why you bloat in a down to earth manner without a pitch try to clean up your gut. I dont buy the food left behind for years deal however. We would all be dead in months from bacteria.

  21. hommony Says:

yes i agree fully this is my 4th week on the raw kick and i find many of the recipes all contain nuts whoooo too much thats right more raw raw raw original super fresh and h2o
