Is bloating during the stomach virus normal?

Ive had a stomach virus of the sorts for the past 4 days. I’ve been projectile vomiting twice a day: once in the morning and once at night, but sometimes another time in between. I haven’t been eating much due to intense nausea (only a ginger ale, 3 pretzels and maybe a few spoonfuls of vegetable and chicken broth daily), but i’m still extremely bloated.

Why am i bloating so much if i have nothing in my stomach? Will the bloating go down?

That’s why you have bloating if you have nothing in your stomach. The stomach continues to produce digestive acids and there is nothing to digest. You can use Gas-x until your condition improves and eat crackers, they sort of absorb the acid. Try to drink tea or water instead carbonated drink as it causes gas.
