Stomach Pain?

My stomach started to hurt yesterday around dinner time… I ate dinner and I exercised. After a while, my stomach started to hurt. I don’t know why but like a dull pain stuck around until right now and I don’t know why stomach keeps hurting. I don’t think I ate anything wrong yestersday. I don’t have any other symptoms except my stomach pain. Pain extends all the way to my back next to my spinal cord. And I think the pain is directed mostly to my upper abdominal area. I just don’t have any appetite too. Ugh… Anybody dealing with the same thing or knows what is going on? Please help.. and Please don’t post rude answers because I’m seriously in pain and I want opinions as to what my pain is all about… Thanks..

The pain going into your back seriously sounds like the gallbladder. Gallstones can be irritated by high fat foods or dairy. They block the bile duct and the pain is from constant spasms trying to unblock the stone. An ultrasound can show if you have them, but I would back it up with bloodwork just to be sure.
Well, according to my doctor, gallstones are being seen in more and more women these days. They are basically little balls of solidified cholesterol, and estrogen seems to make them form faster. I used to feel nauseous as well, so probably just watch what you eat, see if high fat foods or dairy bring the pain on. If it gets worse, just see your doctor.

I think your best bet would be to see the doctor if it keeps up.

definitely go to the doctor, if the pain is serious and not normal I would call the doctor tomorrow morning and arrange an appointment, it could just be some gassiness, due to after eating, or it could be something more serious

Well, you did not say which side it is on so that would be a big help. It could be your gall bladder, it could be your appendix, and it could be that you are having kidney problems. If it is your right abdominal area then you may have appendicitis. When you lay down and push on it does it hurt worse or less? If when you let go it hurts more then you could have the appendix problems. You should probably go on in to Urgent Care if you can so it does not get any worse tonight and possibly cause some real damage in there. It could be gas, or even acid reflux, just no way to really tell without having Dr look at it. It is not normal so go on in and do it quickly before you end up with days in the hospital!

if i get your eating habit i can help u more ( some people eat late meal, long period of time between meals, some eat spicy and hard food, some eat fast with less chewing) Symptoms are look like gastritis, it mean your stomach is inflamed. when it inflamed it hurt.So my advise is
    1. take rest
    2. eat easily digest food (Soup, soda drink)
    3. do not press on the stomach, it will burst
    4. take simple Antacid
if these things does’nt help see the doctor

There is a chance that it could be your gall bladder. In general, there are certain people who are more prone to gall bladder problems, including women, people over the age of 40, and people who are overweight or obese.

I had a friend in college who had her gall bladder removed at age 19 (she was "noticeably" overweight (maybe 15-20 pounds), but definitely not obese).

Pain in the upper abdomen could also be caused by an inflammation of the liver or pancreas.

Upper abdomen pain could also be something less serious like heartburn or indigestion, but your symptoms would have subsided by now if it were either of these problems.

Since you mentioned that you exercised after dinner, there is the possibility that it could be a pain in one of your abdominal muscles, rather than any part of your digestive system.

No matter what, go see a doctor as soon as reasonably possible.
