My daughter is 13 and suffers from, what I believe to be, an Irritable Bowel Syndrome. She has frequent bouts of terrible gas and I would like to know what foods to eliminate from her daily diet. I have already spoke to our family doctor but she didn’t offer much relief except to take her to a specialist which I am doing. In the meantime, any helpful advice would be greatly appecriated. Thank you. :0)

A friend of mine overseas (lebanon) has trouble with stomach pain and constipation. I am 100% sure its diet related. Can anyone point me to a site or information that will give me a diet that could be followed in Beirut?
Are there any health food stores in Beirut?

www.drerika.com | How does one cure Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS? Dr. Erika Schwartz has some radical opinions on IBS. She believes IBS is BS! Rather than accepting a diagnoses of IBS consider what you are putting in your mouth. The reason this disease is being diagnosed is because of the SAD (Standard American Diet) that most people consume on a daily basis. Before you accept a life sentence of IBS take a close look at your diet. Is it full of fresh raw ingredients? Or are you eating fried salty fatty foods?

Normally the week or two before my period is due, (okay I know this sounds really funny but bear with me here. LOL. ) my boobs get really soft and a little painful. I also start to feel bloaty.
Is there anyway I can stop this from happening? I heard midol or pamprin is supposed to help with the bloating but I’d rather get through this without having to take medications. Any herbal remedies? Or exercises? Or diet? Or something?
